You all must have come across people who've gone abroad, telling you about the cleanliness and general discipline of the citizens of those `Clean' and `Beautiful' countries. But back home, these very people want to be literally `free' and don't want to follow any rules. Throwing garbage wherever they wish to.. just outside the `Indian' airport, after getting out of the lounge....
We want all the facilities to be provided to us... May be from the Government, By the Local Administration, By the Office Administration, By the Housing Society and so on.... We want to pay lowest taxes... ( many of us do whatever they can to even avoid taxes...) We don't want to contribute positively to any efforts towards the betterment of the community... We don't even go to cast our Votes... And still wait for the election results and keep the drawing-room discussions hot..in our free time.. We blame the government for all the terrorists activities, all the air crashes, all the train accidents.... But, THINK ! Are we really contributing anything ? Or are we also belong to that most insensitive of the lot who feel that they only deserve to be given the dues (?) but do not owe anything to the Society ?
Most of even don't have any personal opinions about what is happening around us. If we, the common citizens of India have become so blind to the realities.. who do we think would come forward to save the country ?
This is a wake up call to all those who think that if `Shahadat' is must, let a `Bhagat Singh' be born to a neighbour.. Wouldn't the soul of Shaheed Bhagat singh becursing, looking at todays Indians, as to why he committed the blunder of giving his life ?
If we do not change our ways, may be only the ISI or IM mujahideen only would keep coming in big numbers and continue creating havoc amidst the `consumerist' and selfish Indians !

The confusion Between India and Bharat !
Actually, since the independence and partition of India there are two major types of schools of thoughts have been there among the citizens and even the leaders - One is to follow the Western thinking and the other is Swadeshi. An average citizen has since long been confused on this point as to what to make of this country - India or Bharat or even Hindustan!
Well, these are only the two major lines of thinking.. There are more people who want to make this country something else.. The communists, socialists, maoists, capitalists... everyone wants others to follow their own thinking and what we see is that all of us have made a real mess out of this beautiful and resources rich nation.
When we got partition thrust upon us, we deliberately made a decision of calling ourselves a `Secular' nation... without really finding the actual meaning of that word. Ultimately, it became synonymous with minority appeasement and hindu-bashing.
As the political leaders have been filling their bellies and spreading ill-will among the common masees, the present confusing state became more complex as few folks started talking of carving out a Khalistan.
Well, while condemnation of the politicians has become a fashion, it would be improper to blame the politicians for every thing that goes wrong. In fact, I say; The real culprit are all of us, the common citizens of india.
After lot of thinking and brain-storming, I've come to the conclusion that there are three root-causes for anything which goes wrong or any pathetic situation or any unfortunate incident that takes place:-
1. The Population Growth
2. Lack of Education, and;
3. Degradation of moral values among Citizens.
Instead of blaming others, let's first be the initiative takers and take a positive action wherever needed... Let's learn to love our mother-land as few others like the Japanese, Israelies and the koreans or even the Chinese do... Let's contribute individually to make this country better than it's today... Let's do it for ourselves and for our future generations to come.
Let it be an India or a Bharat... it should be a safe, conducive and healthy, less polluted and strong nation where the citizens must be proud to be a part of this nation.
